On September 9, 2007, the world lost a talented musician and one of the very best guitar players in history.  Hughie Thomasson died of a heart attack at his home in Florida.  Hughie was overjoyed that he had reunited his first love, the Outlaws and returned home to Tampa Bay to record the band's new album, Once an Outlaw, Always an Outlaw.
